West partners with multiple local colleges to provide an array of college course opportunities for students as early as 10th grade. Students who demonstrate advanced skills in English and/or Math in middle school are accelerated to courses traditionally scheduled for 9th or 10th grade. Students have an opportunity to earn up to two year’s of college credit for free through an Associate’s Degree. West High School also has a unique pathway to earn a minor in Chicano Studies.
