The Denver Public Schools Culture, Equity & Leadership Team (CELT) is excited to offer a summer program for incoming 9th grade students to learn more about themselves, their cultural identities and gifts, and to develop their leadership skills in fun and joyful ways that include workshops, numerous field trips, and more! CELT strives to provide engaging, culturally-relevant student learning and leading opportunities and experiences that build trust within the communities our district serves. This new summer program is being offered as part of the district’s efforts to ensure equitable opportunities especially for (but not exclusive to) our diverse student populations. Attention West Cowboy Community!

West High school is excited to announce the 1st Annual 9th Grade Signing Day on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at 6:00pm in the West High Auditorium.

This event is for students who will be attending West High in the fall or will be participating in athletics at West. Students will have the opportunity to learn about athletics and clubs at West as well as meet the coaches/sponsors.

Students that will be attending Denver West will have the opportunity to learn about our academic programs and choose next year's classes.

Calling all WMS Cowboys! This is a friendly reminder that West MS Swim Club has started!

We are practicing every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 5-7pm in the West High School Pool. Students are required to provide their own swimsuit and towel.

We are still accepting students but spots are limited so please sign up as soon as possible using the QR code above!

The Transportation Opt-In Program is live now through June 30. If your student is eligible (http://transportation.dpsk12.org/eligibility-and-routing/) and requires DPS Transportation services for the 2022-23 school year, opt in via Parent Portal (https://myportal.dpsk12.org/) -- check out the flyer below.

If families do not opt in by the June 30 deadline, their student may experience a delay in service.

Shout out to our very own Carolina as she competed

Shout out to our very own Carolina as she competed in the All West Native American Tournament this weekend. This is her 2nd yr playing in this amazing event. She was one of the youngest players out there. The team had a good showing going 3-1. They made it to the Gold Bracket and finished 10th of 41 teams. The team was coached by our very own Coach Aj. We are so very proud of you both!
